Do you know how much you are loved today? You. Are. Loved!
You are loved by the God of ALL creation! His love trumps all other love in the world. His love is unending and unconditional. He will never leave you, He will never forsake you. He loves you more than you could EVER imagine!! It is my prayer for each of you to KNOW the Depth and Width and Breadth of God’s love for you today like it says in Ephesians:
Eph 3:16-19 “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
May those verses from the Sword of the Spirit bring comfort and peace to your hearts today and may these verses awaken you to your Warrior within. God wants you to be rooted and established in His Love. It is a love that surpasses knowledge – there is nothing like it in this world. You can’t get it from another person, it only comes from God and He offers it freely to you. Press into Him to grow into that love and experience Him in a whole new way. It will change how you see yourself and others.
You may not feel strong, but GOD makes you strong. You may feel fear, but GOD makes you fearless. He only asks one thing of you…to surrender to His love for you. Surrendering to His love will lead you to His plan and His will, in His timing. His plans for you are far and above anything you see right now. He calls you to LIVE your life in the fullness of His love and without fear of this world.
In her study, Girls With Swords, Lisa Bevere contrasts Israel’s first King, Saul and its everlasting King, Jesus:
“There is nothing more debilitating than the fear of man. King Saul died as he lived: afraid of what others might do to him. In contrast, there is nothing more freeing than the fear of the Lord. Our Warrior King Jesus died as He lived: knowing what people would do to Him.”
Because Saul trusted in man, he was swayed by the people and made resulting poor choices, eventually leading to his death. Because Jesus trusted in God, He was lifted up and glorified in God. Jesus was able to withstand torture and death and be brought back to life in God’s power! May we lean wholly on God for His strength in our storms, for His Wisdom in our world and for His Peace in our place.
I pray that you know God’s DEEP love for you today and that you can walk as a Warrior in His STRENGTH for what you need for today.
